Summary

Impactual hosted a highly anticipated celebration for 3,000 democracy heroes who work tirelessly to make sure people are able to vote safely and securely. It was a night for the organizers, poll workers, election administrators, philanthropists, nonprofit leaders, and the brave men and women who put their names on the ballot.

Impactual led the strategy, planning, and design of THE Party, managing Tinsel Experiential Design to produce. This party, at Audi Field in Washington, DC, was designed to be a joyful, colorful expression of gratitude, a moment to recharge for the challenges ahead, and a reminder that we can all do great things if we work together.

The evening was kicked off by the brilliant brass and drums from the Eastern High School Marching Band and continued with musical sets by LA’s DJ SOSUPERSAM, Lil Jon, and QuestLove. Throughout the night there were appearances by Stacey Abrams, Kerry Washington, Martin Luther King III, Ilana Glazer, David Hogg, Whitney Port, and Alicia Menendez. There were dozens of political leaders in attendance as well.

THE Party was a meaningful show of gratitude for the people working hard for our democracy behind the scenes, who rarely get celebrated. I didn’t think an event could provide such inspiration and confidence, but I feel ready for the fight ahead!

- Attendee

Throughout the night, guests were encouraged to explore a number of themed activations, immersive photobooths, and stations to write thank you notes to other democracy heroes in the community. Midfield, party-goers were invited to add flower stems to a massive "Thank You" wall, symbolizing how every small action contributes to a beautiful larger picture.
